Install TPT Store Link

TPT Store Link installs as a StoreLink.ppam add-in inside PowerPoint, like the other Bearwood Labs PowerPoint add-ins. The first install is manual: there’s no installer to run, you add the file into PowerPoint yourself.

Download StoreLink.ppam from the download page after buying on Gumroad. The download page also links a GettingStartedPC.ppt or GettingStartedMac.ppt file with walkthrough screenshots for your platform.

Requires PowerPoint 2010 or newer, on any Windows version.

  1. Download StoreLink.ppam from the download page.
  2. Right-click the downloaded file and choose Properties.
  3. Tick Unblock, then click OK. Windows blocks downloaded .ppam files by default, so this step is required.
  4. Open PowerPoint and go to File → Options → Add-ins.
  5. At the bottom, set Manage to PowerPoint Add-ins and click Go….
  6. Click Add New, browse to StoreLink.ppam, and select it.
  7. Make sure the checkbox next to TPT Store Link is ticked, then click OK.

Once added, TPT Store Link appears under the Add-ins tab in PowerPoint (as of v1.0.3+; earlier versions used a dedicated TPT Store Link tab).

To update TPT Store Link:

  1. Download the new StoreLink.ppam from the download page.
  2. Close PowerPoint.
  3. Replace the old StoreLink.ppam file in your Documents folder with the new one.
  4. Open PowerPoint.

For the general reasoning behind why updating fixes most loading and blocking issues, see updating an add-in.

See the FAQ for what to do if PowerPoint won’t add the file, the add-in disappears from the ribbon, or a saved store link says “not found”.
