TPT Store Link FAQ & fixes

Mac: any Mac version, with Microsoft PowerPoint 2016 or newer.

“For some reason [Store Linker] cannot be added”

This is PowerPoint blocking the file, not a problem with your purchase. It’s usually a Windows security block or an expired signing certificate. Work through the install steps in order, including the Unblock step on Windows. Installing the latest signed version from the download page solves most cases.

The add-in disappeared from the ribbon, or won’t load

Section titled “The add-in disappeared from the ribbon, or won’t load”

This usually means PowerPoint lost track of the add-in’s file location, or a Windows update reset its Trusted Publisher status. Re-add StoreLink.ppam following the install steps, and on Windows check File → Options → Trust Center → Trust Center Settings → Trusted Publishers to confirm Bearwood Labs is still listed.

Section titled “My saved TPT store link now says “not found””

Re-add the product in TPT Store Link to refresh it.

Download the new StoreLink.ppam file, close PowerPoint, and replace the old file in your Documents folder. See install and update steps for the full steps.
