Activating your BearPDF license

BearPDF works fully in demo mode, but runs are capped at 5 pages until you activate a license. Here’s how to find your key and unlock it.

Find your license key

After buying BearPDF from Gumroad, your key is shown on the purchase/receipt page, in the “Getting Started Guide” content.

1. Check the receipt email Gumroad sent after your purchase. It links back to that page.
2. If you can’t find the email, sign in to your Gumroad library with the email you bought under, and open BearPDF there. Your key and the getting started content are on the product page.

Activate it in the app

1. Open bearpdf.bearwoodlabs.com.
2. Click the Demo badge in the top-right corner of the app.
3. Paste your license key and confirm.

Once activated, the badge updates to show you’re licensed, and the 5-page demo limit is removed, so you can run the pipeline on documents of any size.

Note

One license key unlocks one device at a time. Enter it once per device. There’s nothing else to install or configure.

Moving to a new computer

Web apps don’t need reinstalling. Open bearpdf.bearwoodlabs.com on the new device, click the Demo badge, and enter the same key again. If you can’t find your key, sign back into your Gumroad library: it’s still there under your purchase.
