After you buy
Just bought something? Where your download and license key show up depends on where you bought it. Find your channel below and you’ll know exactly where to look.
Where’s my download and license key?
Section titled “Where’s my download and license key?”Your receipt email has both your download link and your license key.
- Open the receipt email and click View content to reach your download.
- Your license key is shown in the same email.
Everything is also waiting in your Gumroad library. Log in at your Gumroad library with the email you bought with, and every purchase and license key is listed there. No receipt email needed.
Some downloads also include the key as a license.txt file, but you don’t need to go looking for it. The receipt email and your Gumroad library both have it.
Download your product from My Purchases on Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT). It arrives as a ZIP file.
There’s no separate license email for TPT orders. Your license key lives inside the ZIP, in a file named license.txt. Open the ZIP, open license.txt, and your key is the line of text inside.
Flat Pack for Mac is only sold on the Bearwood Labs website, never on TPT. If you have Flat Pack for Mac, your license came by email and lives in your Gumroad library.
Can’t find the email?
Section titled “Can’t find the email?”If the receipt or download email hasn’t turned up, work through these before assuming something went wrong:
- Check your spam or junk folder. Automated receipts often land there.
- Check any other email addresses you might have used at checkout (personal, work, or an alias).
- Note that older download links can expire over time.
