Moving to a new computer
Got a new laptop or desktop? Here’s how to get your Bearwood Labs products running again.
Your license is tied to you, not your machine. Moving from Mac to Mac, or PC to PC, does not need a new purchase. Download the product again, install it, and enter the same license key.
Find your product below and follow its install page. Each one has the exact steps for that product and platform.
Add-ins with an installer
Section titled “Add-ins with an installer”Re-download the latest version from your Gumroad library or your original purchase email, then install it the same way you did the first time:
- Flat Pack (Windows): install Flat Pack
- Flat Pack for Mac: install Flat Pack for Mac
- Power Pack: install Power Pack
- PDF Link Fix: install PDF Link Fix
Enter your license key when the add-in asks for it. Downloading the latest version now also skips past any old issue a newer build has already fixed.
Add-ins you add manually
Section titled “Add-ins you add manually”These ship as a .ppam file you add into PowerPoint yourself. Re-download the latest .ppam from your Gumroad library (or TPT My Purchases if you bought there), then follow the install page:
- Bingo Creator: install Bingo Creator
- Bulk Creator: install Bulk Creator
- Puzzle Maker: install Puzzle Maker
- TPT Store Link: install TPT Store Link
TPT Purchase Downloader
Section titled “TPT Purchase Downloader”This is a macOS app. Re-download it from your Gumroad library and follow install TPT Purchase Downloader.
Web apps
Section titled “Web apps”There’s nothing to install. On your new computer, open the app and enter your license key again to unlock the paid features:
- Wordsearch Creator
- Crossword Creator
- Maze Creator
- Sudoku Creator
- I Spy Creator
- Crack the Code
- Color by Number
Lost your download email or license key?
Section titled “Lost your download email or license key?”Both are easy to get back:
Moving between Windows and Mac?
Section titled “Moving between Windows and Mac?”If your new computer runs a different operating system from your old one, that’s not an automatic switch for Flat Pack and Power Pack. The Windows and Mac versions are separate products, so a Windows license won’t unlock the Mac version, or the other way around.
See Windows and Mac licenses for what to do.
