Windows and Mac licenses

Some Bearwood Labs products are sold as separate Windows and Mac versions, and some work on both with a single license. This page tells you which is which, so you know what carries over when you switch computers.

Flat Pack and Power Pack are separate products

Section titled “Flat Pack and Power Pack are separate products”

Flat Pack and Power Pack come as separate Windows and Mac products, each with its own license. A Windows license doesn’t activate the Mac version, and a Mac license doesn’t activate the Windows version.

Flat Pack (Windows), Flat Pack for Mac, and Power Pack are each their own product when sold separately for Windows and Mac. Your license unlocks the one you bought.

  1. Contact support and say which product you own and which platform you’re moving to.
  2. Include the email address you bought with, so your original purchase can be found.
  3. You’ll get the right path for the platform you’re switching to.

Not sure where or how you bought it? See access past purchases to track down the order first.

The .ppam add-ins run in Microsoft PowerPoint on both Windows and Mac, and the same license works on either:

  • Bingo Creator
  • Bulk Creator
  • Puzzle Maker
  • TPT Store Link

If you own one of these and move to a different computer, your existing license carries over. There’s nothing separate to buy for the other platform.

The web apps have nothing to install and don’t care what computer you’re on. They run in any modern browser on any operating system: Wordsearch Creator, Crossword Creator, Maze Creator, Sudoku Creator, I Spy Creator, Crack the Code, and Color by Number.

Your license unlocks the paid features in the browser, so switching between Windows and Mac needs no extra step.

Every Bearwood Labs add-in, including Flat Pack, Power Pack, and the .ppam add-ins above, needs Microsoft PowerPoint installed. They don’t run in Keynote or Google Slides.
